I’ve been wondering about importing youtube vids into fan pages and after searching came across your site. I’ve got to say you make it very easy to understand with step by step instructions and clear easy to see images, I wish other sites explained technical things with such clarity.

Thank you this is very helpful! I added my YouTube channel to my Facebook Page, but there was nowhere to change the title of the tab under the Facebook app settings. I think it’s pretty self-explanatory thought.

Really appreciate the guidance. Great post! :-)

I didn’t have any idea that something like this can be done, this is great! Importing YT channel videos on a Facebook fan page will raise the views of a video, will bring traffic, subscribers and so many more, this indeed is a very smart move. Thanks for sharing!

Hi,

I like your tutorials – very straightforward and easy to follow with the visuals you provide.

I’ve had difficulty adding new app tabs to my Facebook “page” and was wondering if you had any experience with this and maybe some suggestions on how to get them to show up and work on my FB page.

I actually have 2 YouTube apps added to my FB page: 1 is the YouTube autoshare app that is provided by YouTube when I allowed YouTube to connect to FB when I was on my YouTube channel, the other is a separate YouTube app that I’ve determined is developed by Limobo. While both apps have access to my FB page, neither displays a tab on my FB page where I can display the videos.

Similarly, I allowed Twitter to connect and post to my FB page. The twitter messages post to my wall, which I don’t really want. So, I enabled the Twitter app’s tab (this is the app developed by Twitter) and the tab does show up on my FB page. However, when I select the Twitter tab, no twitter messages ever display there – the page is blank…and the twitter messages continue to show on my wall.

I’v tried adding other apps with no success getting them to show up as working tabs on my page. For example, I added the Klout app to my page. If I go to the Klout app (via the Go To App button on the Klout app’s facebook page), I get a message “Error while loading page from Klout. Empty response received.” I’ve seen this message with other apps I’ve tried to add to my page.

Any insights you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again for your great tutorials.

Here we go, check this picture:

http://www.fansbridge.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/2011-12-07_1126.png
(got it from the tutorial)

Do you see the Tab option? If you want to add the tab to your page click on ” add” if you want to remove it click on ” Remove”.

Hope this can help :D let me know if you need any other help.

JavaGuru January 31, 2012 at 4:33 pm

Yes, I’ve already added the tab to my Facebook page for the Twitter app from Twitter (not the Involver version you’re using). The Twitter tab appears on my page but the problem is that when I select the twitter tab, I’m not seeing any tweet messages being displayed there (see http://twitpic.com/8c06k7), but the twitter messages DO appear on my wall (and I don’t want that) (see http://twitpic.com/8c05wn). Have you had any success using the Twitter tab capability from the official Twitter app?

And for other apps like the YouTube app by Limobo, Klout, etc. I do NOT see an option to add the tab to the page because those apps do not appear in the list under Edit Page->Apps…but these apps DO appear in the apps list displayed when I go to Settings->apps. This is due to the error message about an empty response that I mentioned in my previous post. This doesn’t happen for all apps though as I’ve been able to successfully add the Twitter Tab app by antzmedia, so it may be a problem with these other apps.

Any thoughts or experiences with those specific apps?

Thanks again.

Starting a Youtube channel to market your business, product, service or talent is a great way to build social equity. Once you build an army of subscribers on Youtube, the audience will be attuned to whatever videos you share next and you can use this to your advantage.
