ABOUT
My name is Faissal Alhaithami. I’m a 20 year old blogger from Qatar. I’m a social media specialist @KataraQatar. Although I’m not the best in the field, I enjoy blogging about social media marketing specially Facebook marketing to help people become successful.
My story
I have been managing websites and marketing for about 4 years. One of the websites I founded was On1ine.net, and then when it reached 80,000 members, I sold it to Qatarhost.com which is the biggest hosting company in Qatar.
When I started bloging in 2010, I wrote about everything I knew on internet marketing. Only after reading many books about blogging did I realized I was in the wrong! One of changes I decided
to make was to write only about social media.
A few months later I participated in one of the biggest blogging contests organized by the blogs; comLuv.com, famousbloggers.net and Iblogzone.com. The article I submitted was “Facebook Advertising Killed Google Ad words” came in 5th place. Since I was completely new to blogging, winning 5th place in the “Traffic Generation Blogging Contest” mattered a lot to me. Fortunately, participating in this contest showed me my true calling! People began to contact me asking for advice on Facebook marketing, which was what I had originally written about.
A huge step in my career was taken when I wrote the Facebook Marketing Secrets guide. It received big attention from many people and bloggers alike. One of them was blogger guru Andy Bailey the creator of the CommentLuv plug-in. In August 2011 I came out with the Fans Bridge community, hoping it would be a better way to deliver and communicate with others about what I know of social marketing especially Facebook marketing in a new and different way.
Why the Fans Bridge blog?
With the Fans Bridge blog, I plan to demonstrate everything I do in Facebook marketing. My strategies, tips, experiences, failures, successes – all will be there for you to see. I don’t consider myself as a Facebook marketing guru as most of my strategies are not secrets. I do however consider myself as the guy who has broken the Facebook marketing record for most failures. Hopefully this will keep you on the safe side.
I can guarantee you, I will share everything I know that has worked for me, and will work for you. But you must consider that what I teach is not to obtain “quick success”. If you are looking for to get quick success in Facebook marketing, then sorry, but you are in the wrong place.
Facebook marketing is a part of internet marketing which needs time and patience for it to be successful, and no worries, I’ll always be there to provide any help!

Cheers,
Faissal
