4 important factors to make a better facebook fan page

Hi everyone, last Friday I have asked my lovely newsletter subscribers to send me their facebook pages and the first 10 will be getting a free advices to get their page better, and the response was amazing as I got more than 15 entries, few were not pages so I couldn’t include them and 4 extra pages and I thought it wouldn’t hurt if I include them

The 4 factors:

I created these keywords to help me save time to create this post and not to make this post too long with a repeated sentences as I depended on 4 factors to give my judgment that I see if you are doing them. Then, you are in the right direction to a successful fan page.

1- (No- Facebook landing tab) If I mentioned that, so you are missing one of the must important part of creating your page. The landing tab will help you convert more visitors into fans. Then, you will need to check this post: facebook landing tab: A Complete Guide.

2- ( Not using profile picture well) If I mention that. Firstly, you will need to check this post How to set and customize your facebook fan page: A complete guide, The image on your fan Page is prime real estate, facebook gives you 180px by 540px for the profile picture, so why you are not using it all? you can promote a lot of things through it.

3- ( Not writing updates to your fans usually) if you don’t update your fans, your page will absolutely die, Yes it will die and once it is died it will be difficult to make it alive again because your EdgeRank between you and your fans will drop-down. You will need to update your page with pictures, statues updates, links and videos usually and not too much, don’t ever flood your fans with your updates, I think that you have up to 3 updates in the same day. So do your best to not to go further than 3 updates in one day.

4- ( Not using the top images tab) If i mentioned this, then this is for you, any picture you upload will appear in your top images tab, this tab can be used for many purposes and if it used wisely the benefit will be really huge. You can use the Images Tab to explain more about your business of your self. For example, you can upload your employees pictures, your business logo or images that have information about your products.

5- ( NONE) Then you are doing well, you have all the things that every page should have, Keep it up

Special note: I like how you connect your page with your other social media account. You have a landing tab but I guess you will need to get another one that convert more. You can use the reveal tab too.

Another thing, that you are updating your page automatically though networkedblogs this is totally not a good idea. Firstly, because people will think that your page is a robot and not a human, try to update your page yourself and add your touch to your link updates. As I mentioned I depended on 4 important factors that I think they are important for any fan page. If you are doing these 4 factors that I mentioned in the beginning you are on the right direction and you have it all to a successful fan page.
